Landowner is a five piece band from Holyoke, MA who formed in 2016.
Landowner play a tense, angular, discordant, and moody style of music
that incorporates elements of punk and post punk within their sound.
Musically, Landowner can be loosely compared to bands such as Shellac,
early Parquet Courts, The Wipers, and other like-minded bands. Since
forming in 2016, Landowner have released a fifteen song LP titled
Impressive Almanac in October 2016 and a twelve song LP titled Blatant in July of 2018. Consultant is Landowner's latest full-length LP,
which was released via Born Yesterday records on September 25th, 2020. On Consultant, Landowner offer up twelve tracks of tense, discordant, angular,
and moody punk and post punk. Overall, Consultant makes for an awesome
listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
