Mermaid Teeth are a two piece band from Massachusetts who formed in 2020, from the looks of things. Mermaid Teeth features members of DIRTNAP and Neon Fauna, and the band plays an unsettling and abrasive style of music that incorporates elements of noise rock, art rock, and experimental noise. Mermaid Teeth can be very loosely compared to bands such as Arab On Nightmare, Chinese Stars, Black Dice, Camera Obscura, and other like-minded bands. Crossed Out is the band's debut EP, which was released on July 13th, 2020. On Crossed Out, Mermaid Teeth offer up eleven tracks of harsh, abrasive, and unsettling noise rock, art rock, and experimental noise.
