Faking is a three piece band from Philadelphia, PA who formed in 2012. Faking features members of Gunna Vahm and Midiron Blast Shaft, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Faking play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, metal, grunge and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Faking can be loosely compared to bands such as Whores, Bummer, Unsane, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2012, Faking have released a three song EP titled Greatest Hits Demo in June of 2013, a two song 7" titled Vices in October of 2014, a ten song LP titled Goddamn Cowards in May of 2016, and a cover of Unsane's Alleged for the Shattered, Flattered & Covered Unsane Tribute album in September of 2017. No Comfort is Faking's latest LP, which was released via Slugthrower records on November 8th, 2019. On No Comfort, Faking offer up six tracks of ugly, raw, and negative sounding punk, metal, grunge, and noise rock. Overall, No Comfort makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
