Yeesh is a three piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2008. Yeesh play a tense, frenetic, dynamic, and angular style of music that incorporates elements of post punk, punk, grunge, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Yeesh can be said to be influenced by bands such as Haymarket Riot, Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu, The Nervous System, Hoover, Gravity Index, and other-like minded bands. Since forming in 2008, Yeesh have released a four song EP titled Little Stabs Of Happiness in December of 2010, a five song self-titled EP in September of 2013, a ten song LP titled No Problem in March of 2015, a ten song LP titled Confirmation Bias in July of 2016, and a six song Live Audiotree session EP in March of 2017. Saw You Up There is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released on August 16th, 2019. On Saw You Up There, Yeesh offer up eleven tracks of tense and frenetic sounding post punk, punk, grunge, and indie rock. Overall, Saw You Up There makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
