Regional Justice Center is a five piece band from Seattle, Washington
who formed in 2017. Regional play a venomous and scathing style of
music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, fastcore, and
powerviolence within their sound. Regional Justice Center is primarily
the work of Ian Shelton who was inspired to form the band as a result of
his brother Max being arrested and charged with attempted murder in
2016. RJC's music tackles topics related to exploitation and
demoralization of incarceration and navigating our country's
judicial/department of correction. Since forming in 2017, Regional Justice Center have released a five song self-titled demo in March of 2017, an eleven song LP titled World Of Inconvenience in June of 2018, and a split 7" with Wound Man in April of 2019. Institution is the band's latest EP, which was released on August 16th, 2019. On Institution, Regional Justice Center offer up five tracks of scathing, vicious, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, fastcore, and powerviolence. Overall, Institution makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
