Bum Out is a three piece band from Austin, Texas who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Bum Out features features current and ex-members of Camp X-Ray, Wild America, Manikin, The Capitalist Kids, User Error, Prince, and Trigger Quintet. Bum Out play a gruff amd somewhat melodic style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, garage rock, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Bum Out can be loosely compared to bands such as Husker Du, Hot Snakes, Hot Water Music, Young Livers, Leartherface, and Sneeze. Pain Don't Hurt is the band's debut eight song cassette, which was released via Twistworthy records on January 19th, 2016. On Pain Don't Hurt, Bum Out offer eight tracks of anthemic, melodic, and catchy as hell sounding punk, grunge, garage rock, and indie rock. Overall, Pain Don't Hurt makes for a great listen.
