Brooks Was Here is a three piece band from Warsaw, Poland who formed in 2011. Brooks Was Here play a great killer style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, screamo, and mathcore within their sound. Brooks Was Here can be said to be influenced by bands such as Raein, Daitro, La Quiete, and Caetena Collapse. Since their inception in 2011, Brooks Was Here have released a six song self-titled EP in September of 2012 and a second six song EP titled High Violence in October of 2013. III is Brooks Was Here's latest full-length LP, which was released on November 13th, 2015. On III, Brooks Was Here offer up nine tracks of chaotic and volatile sounding post hardcore, punk, and screamo. Overall, III is a really solid album and will definitely appeal to fans of modern post hardcore and screamo. Great stuff. Enjoy!
