90's Metallic Hardcore worship from this new band from Warsaw, Poland.! Members of Embitter also play(ed) in Incitement, Outbound, Heatseeker and Street Lights. 'Season Of Solitude' is their first output released as a 7'' on february 19, 2018. Embitter are drawing from the 90's metallic hardcore scene and bands such as Congress, Morning Again, Sunrise, Unbroken and Integrity. Although they don't take any risks, this is certainly a solid release. Highly recommended not just for fans of the aforementioned bands.! Enjoy.!!

Easy Prey is a 4-piece band from Austin, Texas. This band features members of Bum Out, UNTD SNKS and OK Pilot. 'Teeth' is their second release and first full-length album released on february 16, 2018. Easy Prey play Noise Rock infused Post Hardcore that can be compared to Unsane, Cows, The Jesus Lizard or older mid-tempo Converge. But Easy Prey are more than the sum of elements from the aforementioned bands...'Teeth' is a breath of fresh air to the hardcore and punk scene as a whole. This is truly an awesome album that should be heard by every follower of this blog.! Highly recommended.!!

Engraved is a 5-piece band from Orlando, Florida which formed in december 2011. 'Drug Knife' is their second EP, self-released on february 05, 2018. Engraved play an awesome mix of modern aggressive Hardcore combined with Progressive Metalcore elements. Influences are said to be made from bands like Poison The Well, Beloved, Deftones and Glassjaw, which you can definitely hear on that ep. 'Lo, And I Am Burning' is Slaves BC's follow-up to their highly acclaimed debut album 'All Is Dust And I Am Nothing' released in 2016. Dualist is a newly formed group from Los Angeles, CA, comprised of former members of the previously disbanded act Elitist.! After a few years away from the scene, the duo of Julian Rodriguez (guitar & vocals) and Ben Kazenoff (drums) found themselves recharged and ready to revisit the genre with a blank slate. With the addition of former Think Again vocalist Robbie Gardunio and former Elitist bassist Brian McGraw (bass & guitar), the band began writing and recording in their hometown of Los Angeles, CA.
Dualist incorporates the fast, aggressive, heavy and groovy elements expected from a modern hardcore/metal act, while paying an updated and revitalized homage to the early works of Elitist. 
...and finally it's there.! 'Be Here Now' is Dualist's debut EP which was released today, march 16, 2018. The song 'Inner Word' features a vocal guest appearrance by Michael Barr (ex-Volumes).! This is an amazing band with an amazing debut EP.! Don't miss it.! Highly recommended.!!

Knaaves is a new band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who formed in 2017, from the looks.  Knaaves feature members of Enabler, so going on that alone, you know you're in for some truly amazing music.  Knaaves play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, d-beat, doom, and sludge within their sound.  Musically, Knaaves can be loosely compared to bands such as Trap Them, Rise And Fall, Moral Void, Cursed, and other like-minded bands.  January is the band's debut EP, which was released on February 20th, 2018.  On January, Knaaves offer up two tracks of insanely good hardcore, punk, crust, d-beat, doom, and sludge.  Overall, January makes for an amazing listen.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!  Seriously, this is probably the best EP I've heard all week and I expect great things from Knaaves!

60659-c is a four piece band from Richmond, VA who formed in 2017, from the looks of things.  60659-c features members of Ostraca and gif from god.  60659-c play a killer style of hardcore, punk, screamo, and emoviolence within their sound.  Musically, 60659-c can be loosely compared to bands such as Orchid, Jerome's Dream, Resurrectionists, Republic Of Dreams, and Grinding Halt.  The Next Part Is A Blur is 60659-c's debut EP, which was released via Zegema Beach and Adorno records on January 5th, 2018.  On The Next Part Is A Blur, 60659-c tear their way through ten tracks in a little over 4 and a half minutes.  Overall, The Next Part Is A Blur makes for a great listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!

This is an insanely good compilation!  This is CVLT's latest compilation release of bands covering Black Flag's iconic My War LP.  Bands on this release include No Funeral, Hellkeeper, 16, Bleached Birth, Fange, Kalloused, Disrotted, Devoidov, and Skincarver.  Each band puts their unique spin on each song of the My War LP.  Seriouslly, this is an awesome collection of bands picked by CVLT Nation for this release.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
