Adrift is a band from Madrid, Spain who formed in 1999, from the looks of things. Adrift play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, post rock, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Adrift can be loosely compared to bands such as Lightbearer, Isis, Cult Of Luna, Russian Circles, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2007, Adrift have released an eight song LP titled Monolito in January of 2008 and an eight song LP titled Black Heart Bleeds Black in June of 2012. Pure is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Temple Of Torturous records on May 31st, 2019. On Pure, Adrift offer up six tracks of killer post metal, post rock, doom, and sludge. Overall, Pure makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
