Damn! This is amazing! Scalp The Pioneer is three piece band from Boston, MA who formed in 2015. Scalp The Pioneer features ex-member As The Sun Sets, Hospital Bomber, and Daughters, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Scalp The Pioneer play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Musically, Scalp The Pioneer can be loosely compared to bands such as Fulgora, Lunglust, Fucking Invincible, Jesuit, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2017, Scalp The Pioneer have released a self-titled demo in April of 2017, sand a digital single titled Alston 4:20 in December of 2017. Graveyard Tan is the band's latest EP, which was released on April 30th 2018, On Graveyard Tan, Scalp The Pioneer offer up four tracks of volatile, chaotic, and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, sludge, grindcore, and powerviolence. Overall, this is a killer EP and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
