Orator is a three piece band from Champaign, Illinois who formed in 2013, from the looks of things. Orator play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of post metal, doom, and sludge within their sound. Musically, Orator can be loosely compared to bands such as Chained To The Bottom Of The Ocean, Hush, Thou, Sea Of Bones, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, Orator have released a four song EP titled I in October of 2013, a three song EP titled II in January of 2014, and a four song EP titled III in June of 2015. Breaking The Cycles Of Violence is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released on July 29th, 2018. On Breaking The Cycles of Violence, Orator offer up seven tracks of heavy and brutal as fuck sounding post metal, doom, and sludge. Overall, Breaking Cycles Of Violence makes for an awesome listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
