Dödsrit is a Swedish based band featuring Christoffer Öster, who played in Sweden based Totem Skin, who sadly called it a day after releasing Weltschmerz back in 2015. Dödsrit play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of black metal, doom, and crust within their sound. Musically, Dödsrit can be loosely compared to bands such as Martyrdod, Myteri, Amber, Year Of No Light, Lightbearer, and other like-minded bands. This is Dödsrit's debut LP, which was released via Alerta Antifascista and Bloodsoaked records on October 13th, 2017. On their self-titled debut, Dödsrit offer up four tracks of killer black metal, doom, and crust. Overall, this album makes for an amazing listen and definitely should not be missed.
