Mush is a five piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in 2016, from the looks of things. Mush play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and indie rock. Musically, Mush can be loosely compared to bands such as Dikembe, Have Mercy, Prawn, and other like-minded bands. Protect Your Brand is the band's debut EP, which was released via Skeletal Lightning records on June 28th, 2017. On Protect Your Brand, Mush offer up four tracks of melodic and catchy as hell sounding punk, emo, and indie rock. Overall, Protect Your Brand makes for a great listen and should not be missed.
