Permanent Makeup is a three piece band from Tampa, Florida who formed in 2011, from the looks of things.  Permanent Makeup play a tense and discordant style of music that incorporates elements of punk and post punk within their sound.  Musically, Permanent Makeup can be said to be influenced by bands such as Unwound, Shellac, Red Monkey, and Polvo.  Since forming in 2011, Permanent Makeup have released a self-titled eight song EP in April of 2011, a seven song EP titled Live On WWNFN 2011 in December of 2011, an eight song EP titled Live On WMNF 2012 in December of 2012, a twelve song LP titled The Void...It Creeps in February of 2013, a three song 7" titled Gibbering in January of 2014, a thirteen song LP titled Taker in August of 2015, and a ten song LP titled I Don't Like You either in July of 2017.  Scrape is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Dead Tank records on October 6th, 2017.  On Scrape, Permanent Makeup offer up fifteen tracks of tense and discordant sounding punk and post punk.  Overall, Scrape makes for a killer listen and definitely should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
