Lugubrious Children are a three piece band from Leeds, UK who formed in early 2015 from the looks of things. Lugubrious Children play a vicious and brutal as fuck sounding style of hardcore, punk, and powerviolence. Musically, Lugubrious can be said to be influenced by bands such as Iron Lung, Left For Dead, Crossed Out, Sick/Tired, Infest, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Lugubrious Children have released a self-titled seven song cassette in February of 2015, a split 7" with Groak in October of 2015, and a split 5" with Endless Swarm on June 16th, 2016. Oblivion is the band's latest ten song EP, which was released on October 25th, 2017. On Oblivion, Lugubrious Children offer up ten tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, and powerviolence. Overall, Oblivion makes for a killer listen and definitely should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
