Cheem is a five piece band from Hartford, CT who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Cheem play a melodic and catchy as hell style of music that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, Cheem can be loosely compared to bands such as TTNG, TWIABPAIAATD, Deer Leep, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2015, Cheem have released a two song EP titled Franklin Badge/Joy Division T-Shirt in January of 2015, a twelve song LP titled making A Planet in January of 2016, a split with Burdis in May of 2016, and a digital single titled Spiral in March of 2017. Downhill is the band's l;atest full-length LP, which was released vi Whelmed records on October 6th, 2017. On Downhill, Cheem offer up fifteen tracks of melodic and catchy as hell sounding punk, emo, indie rock, and math rock. Overall, Downhill is a killer LP and definitely should not be missed.
