Blystex is a four piece band from Chicago, Illinois who formed in early 2017, from the looks of things. Blystex play a raw, blown-out, primordial sounding style of hardcore/punk. Blystex's sound is nasty, ugly, and tense, which makes for a really harsh listen. This is Blystex's debut six song EP, which was on cassette via released via Foreign Legion records on April 24th, 2017. On Nasty Licks, Blystex pummel the listener with six songs of raging, primal, and blown-out sounding hardcore/punk. Overall, Nasty Licks makes for a great listen. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
