The Orphan is a four piece band from Melbourne, Australia who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. The Orphan play a killer style of noise damaged hardcore, punk, and sludge. Musically, The Orphan can be said to be influenced by bands such as Jesuit, Deadguy, Kiss It Goodbye, Botch, and Coalesce. Since forming in 2015, The Orphan have released a six song EP titled The Liar in April of 2016. Gods. Gutters. Stones. is the band's latest three song EP, which was released on June 22nd, 2017. On Gods. Gutters. Stones., The Orphan offer up three tracks of raw, sludgy, and completely unhinged sounding hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, Gods. Gutters. Stones is a killer EP and should not be missed. Seriously, I can't get over how good this EP is. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
