Here's a killer split 7" featuring new material from UK's Caïna and Dallas, Tx based Cara Neir. Caïna is a two piece band from Manchester UK, who formed in 2015, from the looks of things. Caïna play a bleak, oppressive, and heavy as fuck style of post metal and black metal. On their side of the split, Caïna offer up one track of bleak and almost claustrophobic sounding post metal and black metal. The second song on the split comes courtesy of Cara Neir. Cara Neir is a two piece band from Dallas, Texas who formed in 2008. Cara Neir play a dark, ominous, oppressive, and atmospheric style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and black metal within their sound. Musically, Cara Neir can be loosely compared to bands such as Tragedy, Hexis, Protestant, and SVFFER. Since forming in 2008, Cara Neir have released seventeen releases in total, so going on that alone, you know this band is insanely prolific. On their side of the split, Cara Neir offer up one track of vicious and brutally insane black metal, punk, crust. Overall, this is an incredible split and definitely should not be missed.
