Holy shit. This absolutely rips. Chepang is a five piece band from NYC and Napal who formed in 2016. Chepang play a vicious, brutal, and scathing style of politically charged music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, grindcore, and powerviolence within their sound. Lathi Charge is the band's debut eight song EP, which was released via Cricket Cemetery, Nerve Altar, and Holy Goat records on August 1st, 2016. On Lathi Charge, Chepang offer up eight tracks of vicious and brutal as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, grindcore, and powerviolence. Overall, Lathi Charge makes for a killer EP and should not be missed. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
