alright so I'm pretty convinced that the city of Oakland has sold its peoples collective soul to the metal gods. I mean really its the only plausible explanation for the steady history of great metal releases coming from the bay area. found this a couple days ago and I bet ive listened to it all the way through at least 10 times since then. even bought the cassette yesterday. gritty raw black metal that seems to maintain a dark sense of melody. theres even a certain punk sloppiness in the guitars that only adds to the atmosphere. without a doubt my favorite release of the year so far
