alright so these guys may not be new to some of you but they are relatively new to me. think I came across this about 6 months or so ago and have been in love with it since. my own private Alaska is/was? a 3 piece screamoish group out of france. piano. drums. vocals. that's it. this is some of the most emotive, passionate music ive ever heard. really amazing considering how minimal it is as well. hard to draw comparisons but imagine a screamo version of nick cave. that doesn't even really do it justice but I think you get the idea.
