For Everest is a five piece band from NYC who formed in 2013, from the looks of things. For Everest play a melodic and moody style of music that incorporates elements of punk, emo, and indie rock within their sound. Musically, For Everest can be loosely compared to bands such as Lemuria, Discount, Hop Along, Thin Lips, Have Mercy, Prawn, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2013, For Everest have released a two EP titled For Everest Goes Pop in September of 2013, a four song EP titled Last Of The Dogstronauts in April of 2013, a three way split with Poison Oak and A Bag Of Apples in January of 2014, and a five song EP titled No Jazz Rock in June of 2014. We Are At Home In The Body is the band's debut full-length LP, which was released via Broken World Media on June 29th, 2016. On We Are At Home In The Body, For Everest offer up nine tracks of moody, energetic, and catchy as hell sounding punk, emo, and indie rock.
