Autarch is a four piece band from Asheville, North Carolina who formed in 2010. Autarch play a dark and haunting style of music that incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, crust, and post metal within their style. Musically, Autarch can be loosely compared to bands such as His Hero Is Gone, Tragedy, Cult Of Luna, as well as more recent bands such as Recreant, Amber, and Anopheli. The Death Of Actiacus is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Headfirst! and All We Know records on April 19th, 2013. On The Death Of Actiacus, Autarch offer up six tracks of killer hardcore, punk, crust, and post metal. Overall, The Death Of Actiacus is a killer LP and should not be missed. Highly recommended!
