Hi all.  Back from taking a bit of a hiatus due to blogging burnout and working too much.  Hope everyone had a great holiday season and a great  New Years.  Here is a request I got from a killer label from Sex Snobs, an album I reviewed a few months ago.  I decided to do the repost to kick things off for January because this is really a kick ass band that not too many people are aping about, which is kinda sad.  Anyway, Sex Snobs are a four piece band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma who formed in 2013.  Sex Snobs play a killer style of music that incorporates elements of punk, grunge, and noise rock within their sound.  Musically, Sex Snobs can be loosely compared to bands such as Big Eyes, Happy Diving, California X, and Brown Sugar.  The great thing that sets Sex Snobs apart from the pack when it comes to riff laden, grunge influenced punk bands, Sex Snobs have this weird, off-kilter, vibe that keeps things interesting.  Since their inception in 2013, Sex Snobs have released a seven track LP titled Lonely in January of 2014 and a three song EP titled Ugly in August of 2014.  Pop Songs And Other Ways To Die is Sex Snob's latest full-length LP, which was released on June 29th, 2015 and released on cassette via Hip Kids records on December 5th, 2015.  On their latest full-length LP, Sex Snobs offer up ten tracks of riff laden, off-kilter, grunge influenced punk and noise rock.  Overall, Pop Songs And Other Ways To Die is a killer LP and should not be missed.  Highly recommended!  Enjoy!
