Yellow King is a four piece band from Harrisonburg, Virginia who formed in early 2015 from the looks of things. Yellow King play a killer style of music incorporates elements of hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock within their sound. Musically, Yellow King can be said to be influenced by bands such as Ladder Devils, Fight Amp, These Arms Are Snakes, Breather Resist, Engineer, and Achilles. Since their inception in 2015, Yellow King have released a three song demo of March of 2015. Communion is Yellow King's debut full-length LP, which was released on September 16th, 2015. On Communion, Yellow King offer up nine tracks of dirty as fuck sounding hardcore, punk, sludge, and noise rock. Overall, Communion is an amazing album that's an absolute must listen for fans of noise damaged, sludge influenced hardcore. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
